Horizontal Down-type Bending Machine/ Horizontal Down-type rolling Machine

This machine is a hydraulic three-roll plate bending machine, designed to roll steel plates into cylindrical, circular-arc, conical shapes and perform circle straightening.

For the processes of rolling and circle straightening, all three work rolls are driven to provide the rolling torque required for plate forming.

The equipment is controlled by a PLC system, with a synchronization accuracy of ±0.20 mm.

A cone rolling device is installed on the bearing block of the lower roll. The schematic diagram of cone rolling is shown below.

 

 

The hydraulic control system adopts an integrated valve block design for easy maintenance, ensuring excellent functionality and operational reliability of the equipment. It is equipped with an oil filtration system and an industrial chiller cooling system.

The system pipelines are neatly arranged for convenient operation; the metal oil pipes in the hydraulic circuit feature natural and rational bending.

The hydraulic system is equipped with a monitoring function that tracks all key pressure output points and oil temperature of the hydraulic system. In the event of a fault, the system will automatically shut down and trigger an alarm, while indicating the fault location.

The entire machine is configured with both CNC and manual control systems that can be switched conveniently, boasting strong anti-interference performance, a long service life, vibration resistance and stable operation. The control system is integrated with screen display, calculation, program control, process parameter storage, soft protection and human-machine interaction functions. Two operation control cabinets are provided, one of which is movable around the equipment.

 

 

The CNC system features real-time monitoring of the rolling process, as well as calculation, editing, storage, data transmission and power-off memory of process parameters for cylindrical rolling. With a clear and intuitive human-machine interface for easy operation, it enables the input, editing, calculation, modification and storage of workpiece rolling parameters via touch screen input and display. The system stores the saved process data in its memory in the form of menus; during operation, users only need to call up the corresponding menu to retrieve the rolling parameters for the target workpiece.

The equipment is equipped with an automatic fault diagnosis function and a soft limit protection function for all components.

The main drive system of this plate bending machine adopts a hydraulic motor combined with a planetary reducer to directly drive the upper work roll to rotate and provide the torque required by the machine, and the speed can be adjusted according to plate rolling process requirements. Compared with the transmission methods of other similar equipment, this design not only greatly reduces the floor space but also eliminates the inconvenience of installation and adjustment associated with traditional transmission methods, facilitating machine installation and transportation during site relocation. Meanwhile, it avoids transmission instability caused by inconsistent pressure resistance between the main unit and the transmission part during foundation construction.
