1000T horizontal hydraulic press
The 1000-ton horizontal hydraulic press is a heavy-duty hydraulic forming machine with a horizontal layout design. Its nominal pressure can reach 10,000 kN. Its core advantages lie in horizontal pressure application, horizontal workpiece clamping, and strong adaptability to the processing of long shafts/tubular parts. It overcomes the limitations of vertical hydraulic presses in processing long workpieces and is widely used in heavy industrial processes such as shaft straightening, pipe pressing, and metal extrusion.
I. Core Structure and Performance Characteristics
Horizontal Machine Body Design: The machine body adopts an integral welded frame structure. The main hydraulic cylinder and worktable are arranged horizontally, with the force direction aligned with the workpiece axis, preventing bending deformation of long shaft workpieces due to their own weight. The machine body has high rigidity, ensuring stable processing accuracy.
Equipped with adjustable tooling fixtures, it supports clamping and positioning of shafts and tubular workpieces of different diameters and lengths, offering wide adaptability.
Safety and Auxiliary Configuration: Infrared beam protection, automatic overload pressure relief, emergency braking device; protective railings on both sides of the worktable to prevent workpiece displacement and ejection risks; equipped with an automatic ejector device for rapid unloading after processing, improving production efficiency.
Optional features include a workpiece heating system and online flaw detection module to adapt to special process requirements such as hot pressing and defect detection.
II. Core Application Areas:
1. Shaft Straightening and Shaping: As a core straightening device for heavy shafts such as drive shafts, crankshafts, and rolls, it can precisely straighten shafts that have undergone bending deformation after heat treatment. Through segmented pressure application and multi-point inspection, it widely serves the engineering machinery, metallurgical steel rolling, and heavy-duty motor manufacturing industries.
2. Pipe and Profile Pressing: Applicable to end upsetting, diameter reduction pressing, and pipe wall forming processes for thick-walled seamless steel pipes, oil casing, and aluminum alloy profiles. It can complete the flaring, shrinking, and flange forming of both ends of pipes in one piece, improving efficiency by more than 3 times compared to traditional lathe processing, and avoiding material waste during cutting. It is particularly suitable for the mass production of oil and gas pipeline fittings.
3. Metal Extrusion Forming: Used for copper and aluminum profile extrusion and irregular part molding. It performs horizontal extrusion on long copper busbars and aluminum rods, producing industrial profiles with complex cross-sections, meeting the processing needs of high-strength conductive profiles in rail transportation and power equipment sectors. Simultaneously, it can complete the horizontal forging of metal billets, improving billet density and laying the foundation for subsequent precision machining.
4. Scrap Metal Recycling Briquetting: In the resource recycling industry, it can perform horizontal briquetting processing on scrap shafts, pipe scraps, and waste metal profiles. Using 1000 tons of high pressure, loose metal materials are compressed into regular cuboid or cylindrical blocks, with a volume compression ratio of up to 1:5, significantly reducing transportation and remelting costs.
